Dr Franko Naro has claimed that the authorities responsible for appointing the next Black Stars coach are considering a local coach ahead of Ghana’s November fixtures.
Speaking on Kessben Sports, Dr Naro said his sources indicate that former Ghana international Michael Essien is among the names being considered for the position.
He suggested that the potential move could mark a renewed focus on local expertise as the Ghana Football Association weighs its options for the national team.
