PAG Congratulates NPP on Successful Election of National Executives

The Progressive Alliance for Ghana (PAG) has congratulated the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on the successful election of its new national executives, describing the process as a positive demonstration of democratic practice.

In a statement issued by its Communication Head, Donald B. Dzameshie, on behalf of the Leader and Flagbearer, Dr. John Enyonam Kpikpi, PAG commended the NPP and its delegates for the peaceful conduct of the elections and the democratic process that produced the new national executives.

PAG said as a political party committed to strengthening Ghana’s democracy, it believes political competition must always be anchored in peace, tolerance, mutual respect and the national interest.

The party therefore urged the newly elected NPP executives to use their mandate to promote constructive political engagement and contribute meaningfully to the development and stability of Ghana.

It also called on all political parties and their leadership to put the interest of Ghana above partisan considerations and work towards building a country where democratic governance delivers meaningful progress and better opportunities for all citizens.

PAG expressed the hope that the new NPP leadership would contribute to creating a political environment where healthy competition, accountability and the collective interest of Ghana remain paramount.

The party wished the newly elected NPP national executives a successful tenure and urged them to use their new positions to advance Ghana’s democratic development.
