From Silence to SOL.ACE: Daddy Lumba’s Eldest Daughter, Denise Lady Fosuh, Launches Platform for Digital Responsibility

After experiencing intense online scrutiny following the death of her father, Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, known as Daddy Lumba, Denise Lady Ama Saah Fosuh (@deniseladyfosuh) is turning personal experience into a wider conversation about digital culture, wellbeing and responsibility.

“Social media has given everyone a voice. But what happens when that power is used irresponsibly?”

It is a question Fosuh is exploring through SOL.ACE, a new platform focused on cyberbullying, digital culture and responsible online engagement.

The launch comes during National Cyber Security Awareness Month in Ghana, led by the Cyber Security Authority (CSA) to promote cybersecurity awareness and responsible digital behaviour.

It also comes amid wider conversations about online conduct. President John Dramani Mahama recently addressed the culture of social-media insults, remarking that years in public life had given him “crocodile skin” against personal attacks.

But SOL.ACE asks: should people need crocodile skin simply to exist online?

For Fosuh, the subject is personal. Following Daddy Lumba’s death in July 2025, private family matters became the subject of widespread public discussion, while she faced cyberbullying, misinformation and intense online commentary.

Having largely resisted responding publicly, Fosuh began reflecting on privacy, silence and digital culture — particularly after growing up with a father who remained remarkably private despite decades in the public eye.

“If you don’t tell your story, who fills the silence?”

Rather than becoming another platform about the Lumba family dispute, SOL.ACE seeks to explore how online narratives are created, why misinformation spreads and the responsibility that comes with digital influence.

The platform aims to combine lived experience with conversations involving creators, journalists, lawyers, technology specialists, educators, advocates and other experts — sitting at the intersection of digital responsibility, online safety, media literacy, technology and wellbeing.

Fosuh’s message is simple:

The internet may be virtual, but its consequences are very real.
