My aim was to make Bosomtwe the capital of learning in Ashanti – Hon Yaw Adutwum

Former Education Minister and former Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, says his vision was to transform the Bosomtwe constituency into a leading centre for education in the Ashanti Region.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Dr. Adutwum said significant progress had been made in positioning Bosomtwe as an education hub during his tenure.
“My aim was to make Bosomtwe the capital of learning in Ashanti,” he said, adding that the constituency has now become second only to the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) in terms of its educational standing.
Dr. Adutwum, who previously served as Education Minister, highlighted the development as part of the achievements recorded during his time in office.
The former minister said his focus had been on creating an environment where students and educational institutions in Bosomtwe could thrive and contribute to the broader development of the region.
