Andy Kerm questions Tinkler’s decision to cite a better offer

Sports analyst Andy Kerm has questioned the decision by former Asante Kotoko coach Eric Tinkler to cite a better offer as the reason for his departure from the club.

Speaking on Kessben Sports, Kerm questioned the message such an explanation could send to Kotoko players, particularly if they are encouraged to consider leaving whenever they receive a more attractive offer.

“If you are leaving because you have a better offer, what’s the sense in telling this to Kotoko players? Do you want the players also to leave when they get better offers?” he asked.

Kerm described the communication as unprofessional and suggested that greater consideration should have been given to how the explanation could affect the players and the club.
