NPP’s National Officers Election: Final Delegates Register Ready For Collection From Tomorrow – NOEC
The National Officers Elections Committee (NOEC) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that the Final Delegates Register for the Party’s National Annual Delegates Conference has been completed and will be available for collection from tomorrow, Thursday, 17th September 2026.
The announcement was made in a press statement following a final engagement with aspirants and their representatives ahead of the National Officers elections scheduled for *Saturday, 3rd October 2026, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.
The engagement was chaired by NOEC Chairman, Frederick Opare-Ansah, and briefed aspirants on final rules, regulations, guidelines and operational arrangements.
According to the statement, delegates are expected to arrive in Kumasi on the evening of Friday, 2nd October 2026, with the Conference commencing promptly at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, 3rd October.
Online Verification & Proxy Voting
NOEC says it has established an online verification facility to enable delegates to check their eligibility. Delegates are to visit the NPP official website, click on “Verification”, enter their phone number or Voter ID number to receive a One-Time Password (OTP) to check their eligibility.
The Committee also confirmed that proxy voting will be permitted under a detailed Proxy Voting Framework. The final Proxy Register will be published on 27th September 2026.
Voting Arrangements
On voting arrangements, NOEC clarified that:
– All eligible youth delegates will vote in the election of the National Youth Organiser, in addition to other elections.
– All female delegates will vote in the election of the National Women’s Organiser, in addition to other elections.
– For the three National Vice-Chairpersons, each delegate will select three aspirants. The tally system will be used for counting.
Aspirants have been asked to submit names of their printing agents to monitor ballot printing, as well as names and photographs of polling agents for accreditation.
The elections will be conducted by the Electoral Commission of Ghana under NOEC supervision, in collaboration with the Ghana Police Service.
Media Accreditation Deadline
NOEC reminded all media personnel and bloggers wishing to cover the Conference to obtain accreditation by *21st September 2026* via the NPP official website under “Accreditation”.
A Media Village will be established at the stadium for accredited media houses wishing to set up studios, with requests for space to be submitted by Friday, 18th September 2026. Media houses will not have access to the inner perimeter of the stadium; an official broadcast feed will be provided for live transmission.
The Committee expressed appreciation for the cooperation of aspirants and urged all agents, supporters and delegates to comply with electoral, accreditation and security arrangements.
