The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central Constituency, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, is set to distribute educational support items to all first-year Senior High School (SHS) students in the constituency.
The distribution exercise, under the theme “Together We Build A Brighter Future,” is scheduled for *Thursday, 17th September 2026, at 9:00 AM at the Achichire Durbar Center.*
The intervention is aimed at easing the burden on parents and guardians as their wards transition into secondary education and to ensure every student starts school fully equipped.
Items to be distributed include *student mattresses, buckets, pens, chop boxes, and metal trunks* – key essentials on the SHS prospectus that often pose a financial challenge to families.
Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe has consistently prioritized education as a cornerstone of development in Amenfi Central, with several initiatives aimed at improving access, retention and quality of education.
Parents, guardians, beneficiary students, traditional leaders and party stakeholders are expected to converge at the Achichire Durbar Center for the ceremony.
The MP’s office says all first-year SHS students in Amenfi Central who have gained admission this academic year are eligible beneficiaries.
