The Institute of Economic Research and Public Policy (IERPP) will hold a press conference on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, to address the performance of BOSTenergies and the implications of the NPA Bill.
The conference, themed “BOSTenergies MADE GH¢684M PROFIT – WHY IS GOVERNMENT USING THE NPA BILL TO WEAKEN IT?”, is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at the Ghana International Press Centre.
According to the Institute, the briefing will interrogate why government is pursuing legislative changes under the NPA Bill that could weaken BOSTenergies, despite the state-owned company posting a GH¢684 million profit.
The IERPP is expected to make its position on the bill and its potential impact on the energy sector known at the press conference.
