"1020 Laughs" scheduled for August
For 10 years and counting, 1000 Laughs and music series has served as the platform for comedy lovers to enjoy good music and comedy.

According to a statement from the organisers of the event, Charterhouse, the night dubbed, A Night of 1020 Laughs and Music will give revellers an opportunity to forget about their troubles, mistakes, let go and laugh till their jaws hurt.
“Brace yourself, get an extra set of ribs, buy a stack of tissue or handkerchiefs, be prepared to be treated to undiluted doses of two of life’s essentials and get ready for a night of non-stop laughter and music,” the statement added.
The longest-running comedy series in Ghana is expected to, as usual, feature some of the finest in comedy and music from the African continent.
Some of the comedians who have graced the stages of the Laugh series include Funny Face, DKB, Klint the Drunk, Basketmouth, Bovi, Akpororo, Gordons, Okey Bakassey among others.
