Funeral of Assembly of God’s Rev. Awintia’s Father Slated for Saturday at Cedar Mountain Chapel
The funeral of Agure Awintia, father of the Regional Superintendent of the Greater Accra East Region of Assemblies of God, Ghana Rev Andrews Nelson Awintia will take place on Saturday, 22nd August, 2026 at Cedar Mountain Chapel, East Legon , Accra.
The late Agure Awintia was also the father of Pastor Samson Atule- Western North Assemblies of God, Ghana, Mr Nehemiah Awande, Mr Francis Ayagabil, Mr.Godswill Awintia, Kwaku Awintia and Ama Awintia.
He is remembered for his selfless, compassionate charitable character and support for humanity.
His funeral is expected to be attended by influential men of God and persons of repute.
He was 86.
