NDC stalwart Emmanuel Issah Abudu has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Deputy National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress when nominations are opened.
In a statement titled “Declaration of Intent”, Mr. Abudu traced his political journey from his days as a TEIN member at the University to serving as Atlanta Branch Youth Organizer, and later as a two-term NDC USA Chapter Youth Organizer.
“My journey has always been about service, commitment, and creating opportunities for our youth,” he said.

Mr. Abudu announced that in the coming days, he and his team will embark on a nationwide tour to consult with party youth structures ahead of the internal elections.
He said the team will engage Youth Organizers, TEIN leaders, stakeholders and the grassroots in every region of Ghana. “I want to listen, learn, and discuss how we can work together to build a stronger, more united and opportunity-driven Youth Wing that works for ALL,” he stated.

The aspirant described his bid as bigger than an individual ambition, framing it as a mission for the youth, the party and the future.
“This journey is bigger than me. It is about the youth, our party, and our future,” Mr. Abudu said.
He concluded with his campaign mantra: “BUILT TO SERVE. READY TO LEAD.”
Party watchers say Mr. Abudu’s experience in both Ghana and the diaspora wings of the NDC positions him as one of the early names to watch in the upcoming NDC Youth Wing elections.
