American Billionaire John Morgan says his children who refuse prenups will not inherit his wealth

American billionaire John Morgan has disclosed that his children must sign prenuptial agreements before marriage, warning that any child who refuses to do so will not receive an inheritance from his estate.

Speaking on the Earn Your Leisure podcast, Morgan said the decision is aimed at protecting his family’s wealth and ensuring that his children’s marriages are built on genuine commitment rather than financial interests.

Morgan explained that he considers prenups necessary because of the high rate of divorce, advising his children to take time before settling down.

He said he intentionally takes responsibility for enforcing the rule so that his children do not have to appear as the ones demanding the agreements from their partners.

“My dad is not going to leave us any money if he doesn’t get this prenup signed. I become the bad guy,” he said.

According to Morgan, resistance to signing a prenuptial agreement could indicate that a person’s interest in the relationship is linked to financial gain rather than love.

He recalled an instance involving one of his sons, where his son’s fiancée’s lawyer described the agreement as unfair and requested changes. Morgan said he rejected the idea of negotiations, insisting that the document was a condition for the marriage to proceed.

He added that the agreement was eventually signed before the wedding, and the couple have now been married for 13 years.

Morgan said his main concern was to prevent future disputes over his family’s assets in the event of a divorce.
