My club Real Oviedo was happier than me after my Black Stars call-up – Kwasi Sibo
Ghanaian midfielder Kwasi Sibo has revealed that his Spanish club, Real Oviedo, celebrated his maiden call-up to the Black Stars even more than he did.
Speaking in an interview on Kessben TV with Sir Joe Laka, Sibo said the club’s players, coaches, and staff were delighted when they learned he had been selected to represent Ghana at the senior national team level.
According to Sibo, the recognition reflected not only his hard work but also brought pride to Real Oviedo, who viewed his national team invitation as a testament to the club’s player development.
He added that receiving the Black Stars call-up was a dream come true and a major milestone in his football career.
