Mid-Year Budget Review: NDC budgets have shown no significant impact since taking office – Kwaku Twumasi

Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications Team, Kwaku Twumasi, has criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government’s economic performance, claiming that its budgets have had little impact since the party assumed office.

Speaking on Kessben FM ahead of the government’s Mid-Year Budget Review, Twumasi argued that the budgets presented by the NDC have not produced any significant improvements in the economy. He maintained that many Ghanaians are still waiting to see tangible benefits from the government’s fiscal policies.

Twumasi called on the government to use the upcoming Mid-Year Budget Review to introduce practical measures aimed at addressing economic challenges, creating jobs, and improving living conditions.

His remarks reflect the position of an opposition party representative. The government is expected to present the Mid-Year Budget Review to Parliament, outlining the country’s economic performance and any policy adjustments for the remainder of the fiscal year.
