Eagle Prophet’s flood warning resurfaces after Accra floods

A warning issued by Eagle Prophet on Kessben FM two weeks ago has gained renewed public attention following the severe flooding that affected parts of Accra yesterday.

During the radio interview, Eagle Prophet cautioned Ghanaians about an impending massive flood, describing it as both a physical and spiritual event. He stated that the floods would be severe and urged the public to remain vigilant, adding that “the worst is yet to come.”

Yesterday, several parts of Accra experienced one of the most severe floods in recent times after heavy rainfall, causing widespread disruption, damage to property, and difficulties for commuters.

Following the incident, many people have revisited Eagle Prophet’s earlier remarks, with supporters pointing to the flooding as evidence that his warning was significant. However, there is no independent evidence establishing a connection between his spiritual claims and the flooding. Flooding is commonly influenced by factors such as heavy rainfall, drainage conditions, and urban development.

Authorities continue to assess the impact of the floods and have urged residents in flood-prone communities to remain alert and follow official safety advisories, especially as the rainy season continues.
