Years of broken promises push Manso Tontokrom residents to declare never to vote again in Ghana elections if needs are not addressed

Residents of Manso Tontokrom have expressed frustration over what they describe as years of neglect by successive governments, threatening to abstain from voting in future elections if their concerns remain unaddressed.
Speaking on Kessben FM, community member Nyarko Issac, popularly known as Simple Man, said residents are disappointed by the lack of development in the area despite repeated promises from political leaders.
According to him, poor road conditions, unreliable telecommunications networks, and inadequate infrastructure continue to affect daily life and economic activities in the community. He noted that residents have endured these challenges for years without seeing meaningful improvements.
Simple Man stated that many residents now feel abandoned and are considering boycotting future elections as a way of expressing their dissatisfaction with authorities.
