8 years of NPP, you could not fix the condition at KATH, and you are expecting Mahama to fix that in 1 year 6 months – Justice Prempeh

Justice Prempeh, a member of the NDC Communication Team, has defended President John Dramani Mahama against criticisms over the current state of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).

Speaking on Kessben FM, Justice Prempeh questioned critics from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), arguing that the party had eight years in government but was unable to resolve the longstanding challenges facing the hospital.

“You had eight years in office and could not fix the conditions at KATH. How do you expect Mahama to solve all those problems within one year?” he asked during the discussion.

According to him, many of the challenges confronting the facility predate the current administration and require time, planning, and significant investment to address. He urged Ghanaians to give the government sufficient time to implement its policies and improve conditions at the hospital.
