The pastors who are arguing about certain things being foreign culture, Is pastoral work a Ghanaian culture? – Kwasi Mensah

Kwasi Mensah has sparked debate after questioning the origins of pastoral work and its place within Ghanaian culture during a discussion on Kessben FM.
Speaking on the radio station’s program, Mensah challenged some pastors who frequently criticize certain practices as being foreign cultures. He argued that Christianity and pastoral work themselves were introduced from outside Ghana and should also be considered foreign influences.
“The pastors who are arguing about certain things being foreign culture should ask themselves whether pastoral work is a Ghanaian culture. Isn’t that also from foreign lands?” Mensah reportedly stated.
His comments have generated mixed reactions among listeners, with some supporting his view that cultural exchanges have shaped modern Ghanaian society, while others defended the role of Christianity and pastoral ministry in the country’s development.
