Emmanuel Danso has disclosed that the last time funding was received for the Kejetia Market Phase 2 project was in May 2024.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Emmanuel Danso, who serves as a consultant for Contracta Construction, explained that delays in funding have significantly affected progress on the market project.
According to him, the lack of financial support since May last year has contributed to the slowdown in construction works at the site. He stressed the importance of consistent funding to ensure the completion of the major trading facility in Kumasi.
The Kejetia Phase 2 project remains one of the most anticipated infrastructure developments in the Ashanti Region, with traders and residents eager to see the project completed to improve commercial activities in the city.
