Sam George has come under criticism following his tense appearance before Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee, with Kwasi Mensah describing the minister as “very disrespectful” and accusing him of dishonesty during a discussion on Kessben FM.
Speaking on a political talk show aired after the committee session, Kwasi Mensah claimed Sam George’s conduct toward members of the committee was inappropriate and confrontational. According to him, the minister failed to show the level of respect expected from a public official appearing before Parliament.
The comments follow widespread reactions to the heated exchanges that reportedly occurred during the Public Accounts Committee hearing, where issues surrounding government communications and accountability were discussed.
Supporters of Sam George, however, argue that the minister was only defending his position strongly and insist that some criticisms against him are politically motivated. The incident has since sparked debate on social media, with many Ghanaians divided over the minister’s conduct and the remarks made by Kwasi Mensah.
