EOCO boss Raymond Archer is pursuing Maxwell Kofi Jumah over missing Kwame Nkrumah-Era old metals – Paul Yandoh reveals

According to Paul Yandoh, the Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the head of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), Raymond Archer, is pursuing Maxwell Kofi Jumah over allegations linked to materials procured decades ago.

Speaking on Kessben FM, he said the issue centers on old metal equipment reportedly acquired during the era of Kwame Nkrumah for the Aboaso Gas Factory project, which he claims are now unaccounted for. He suggested that EOCO’s interest in Jumah is tied to these missing items, though he did not provide evidence to substantiate the claim.

The Aboaso Gas Factory, a long-discussed industrial initiative, has been associated with efforts to boost Ghana’s energy and manufacturing capacity, though details about its historical inventory remain unclear.

As of now, EOCO has not publicly responded to the allegations made on air, and there has been no official statement linking Jumah to any missing equipment from the Nkrumah era. It is also unclear whether any formal charges have been filed in relation to the matter.
