Marriage counsellor, Mary Owusu Aboagye, has attributed some cases of infidelity in marriages to what she describes as a decline in self-care among some married women.
Speaking on Mmaa Nkabi on Kessben TV, hosted by Akua Yeboah, she stated that women who reduce efforts to maintain their physical appearance after marriage may inadvertently contribute to relationship challenges.
According to her, “women taking less care of themselves to stay attractive while married is a major cause of husbands going for sidechicks,” a comment that has sparked mixed reactions among viewers.
She emphasized the importance of mutual effort in maintaining attraction and emotional connection within marriage, noting that both partners have a role to play in sustaining healthy relationships.
