With the way the NDC Gov’t were ranting about ORAL, We thought by now all of us would have been in jail by now,

A leading member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwasi Kyei, has criticized the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) over what he describes as unfulfilled anti-corruption expectations.

Speaking on Kessben Maakye on Kessben FM, hosted by Wofa Kofi Appiah, Kyei referenced the government’s stance on the “ORAL” anti-corruption narrative, suggesting that initial rhetoric created high public expectations.

“With the way the NDC government were ranting about ORAL, we thought by now all of us would have been in jail,” he said, adding that after a year in office, the administration has “nothing to show” in terms of results.

Kyei argued that the gap between the government’s campaign messaging and its performance in office raises concerns about accountability and delivery on key promises.

His remarks contribute to the broader political discourse on governance and anti-corruption efforts in Ghana, as both major parties continue to debate their respective records and commitments to transparency.
