A lot of things that brought this NDC Gov’t to power were based on lies – Kwasi Mensah
A political commentator, Kwasi Mensah, has alleged that several factors that contributed to the rise of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government were rooted in misinformation.
Speaking on Kessben Maakye, hosted by Wofa Kofi Appiah, Mensah argued that the electorate was influenced by narratives he claims were not entirely accurate.
According to him, “a lot of things that brought this NDC government to power were based on lies,” suggesting that campaign messaging and public perception played a significant role in shaping the election outcome.
Mensah further called for greater political accountability and urged the public to critically assess information presented by political actors, especially during election periods. He emphasized the importance of fact-checking and responsible communication in strengthening Ghana’s democratic processes.
