Stop taking credit – Caller blasts Ashanti Regional minister Dr Amoakohene over ‘Free SHS students’ artwork
A caller on Kessben FM’s Morning Show has criticized the Ashanti Regional Minister, urging him to stop taking credit for a painting created by students.
Speaking during the programme, the caller argued that the students behind the artwork are beneficiaries of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy, which he believes played a key role in nurturing their talents.
According to the caller, the Minister should “cut the bluff” and acknowledge the broader impact of the Free SHS initiative rather than claiming recognition for the students’ achievement.
Some people agree that the policy has significantly contributed to developing young talents, while others maintain that the Minister may simply be supporting and promoting student creativity in the region.
