What NDC does and they are pardoned by Ghanaians, if NPP does the same, they are not pardoned – Kingsley Bonsu Kyeretwie

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kingsley Bonsu Kyeretwie, has alleged double standards in how Ghanaians judge the country’s two major political parties.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Kyeretwie claimed that actions taken by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are often forgiven by the public, while similar actions by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) attract harsher criticism. According to him, this perceived imbalance affects public discourse and political accountability.
He argued that such differences in public reaction could influence how political narratives are shaped, especially in an election cycle, and called for what he described as fair and objective assessment of all political actors regardless of party affiliation.
The remarks have generated mixed reactions among listeners and political analysts. While some agree that public perception can sometimes be uneven, others insist that political parties are judged based on their records, policies, and performance in government.
Kyeretwie’s comments add to ongoing discussions about political bias, accountability, and voter behavior in Ghana’s evolving democratic landscape.
