Vice President Prof Jane Opoku-Agyemang is the best candidate to lead the NDC in the 2028 general elections – Kwasi Mensah
A political commentator, Kwasi Mensah, has stated that Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is the most suitable candidate to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) into the 2028 general elections.
Speaking on the morning programme Maakye on Kessben FM, Mensah praised the Vice President’s leadership qualities, experience in public service, and strong political credibility within the party.
According to him, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang has demonstrated competence and dedication throughout her career, both in academia and in government. He noted that her calm leadership style and commitment to national development make her a strong figure capable of uniting the party and appealing to a broad spectrum of voters.
Kwasi Mensah also highlighted her previous roles, including serving as Minister for Education, which he said helped strengthen her reputation as a disciplined and results-oriented leader.
The political analyst added that if the NDC is looking for a candidate who can maintain stability and inspire confidence ahead of the 2028 polls, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang stands out as the best option.
