Don’t betray yourself to please others – Rev Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)
Rev Vincent Kankam has advised individuals to remain true to themselves and their values, warning against compromising personal integrity to gain approval from others.
Speaking on his programme on Kessben FM, Rev Kankam stated, “Don’t betray yourself to please others.” He emphasised that many people fall into emotional and spiritual distress because they constantly sacrifice their principles, dreams, and beliefs in an attempt to satisfy family, friends, or society.
According to him, living authentically is key to personal peace and fulfillment. He urged listeners to build self-confidence and seek validation from God rather than from public opinion. “
Rev Kankam further encouraged individuals to set healthy boundaries in relationships and remain steadfast in their faith, noting that true success comes from staying aligned with one’s divine calling.
