Apart from cedi appreciation, what’s any good happening to Ghana’s economy under NDC? –  Kennedy Kankam

His remark reflects growing public interest in whether headline macroeconomic improvements are translating into real, tangible progress for everyday Ghanaians.

Economic headlines in the past year have often highlighted the strong performance of the Ghanaian cedi against major currencies,  a trend that, on the surface, suggests stability and recovery after years of financial strain. Indeed, Ghana’s currency saw remarkable gains throughout 2025, with one of the steepest appreciations recorded in recent memory, helping to ease import costs and reduce inflation pressures.
