Put away the ‘If It does not work’ mindset and start doing – Rev. Vincent Kankam
Rev. Kankam addressed a common habit that holds many people back, beginning every plan with doubt. According to him, the constant fear of failure prevents individuals from pursuing opportunities, launching businesses, furthering education, or even stepping into leadership roles. He noted that many dreams remain unrealized not because people lack talent, but because they are trapped in hesitation.
He urged listeners to understand that no success story begins with certainty. Every achievement requires faith, effort, and resilience. “If you always ask whether it will work before you begin, you may never begin at all,” he emphasized.
The Reverend encouraged especially the youth to take bold steps. He explained that failure is not the opposite of success but part of the journey toward it. Each attempt, whether successful or not, builds experience and strength.
Listeners were reminded that growth comes through action, not overthinking. Waiting for perfect conditions often leads to missed opportunities. Instead, he advised adopting a mindset of determination, start, learn, adjust, and continue moving forward.
