Since 1992, NPP has brought more monumental Government policies & interventions in Ghana than the NDC – Political analyst, Kwasi Mensah
Political commentator Kwasi Mensah has asserted that since the inception of the Fourth Republic in 1992, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has introduced more monumental government policies and interventions benefiting Ghanaians than the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Speaking on a panel discussion on Kessben FM, Kwasi Mensah argued that successive NPP administrations have implemented transformative initiatives in areas such as education, infrastructure, and social intervention programs. According to him, these policies have had a lasting and measurable impact on the lives of ordinary citizens across the country.
He maintained that while both major political parties have contributed to national development, the scale and visibility of flagship programs under NPP governments stand out in Ghana’s democratic history. Kwasi Mensah emphasized that public discourse should focus on comparing tangible outcomes rather than partisan sentiments.
Others challenged his claims, pointing to policies introduced under NDC administrations and arguing that national development is a shared effort across different governments.
