Graceland International School Celebrates Founder’s Legacy

Graceland International School, a leading educational institution in Ghana, recently commemorated the 32nd anniversary of its founder, the late Madam Grace Koteikai Robertson, who pioneered creche, nursery, and kindergarten education in the country. The celebrations, held at the school’s Bubuashie campus, highlighted Madam Robertson’s enduring legacy and the school’s growth into one of Ghana’s top institutions.

Under the leadership of Madam Robertson’s daughter, Bishop Dr. Stella N.A. Dartey, Graceland International School has continued to thrive, winning numerous awards and producing successful alumni who occupy prominent positions in Ghana and abroad. The school’s anniversary celebrations featured a vibrant float through Bubuashie and its environs, showcasing the school’s achievements.
Bishop Dr. Dartey revealed that the school has provided full scholarships to over 2,000 brilliant but needy children since its inception, demonstrating its commitment to education and community development. “We are proud of our achievements, but we remain committed to excellence,” she said.

The anniversary celebrations will culminate on February 20th with a grand ceremony featuring notable personalities, including Hon. Asiedu Nketiah, Lawyer Barbara Asamoah, Minister for Education Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and others. Awards will be presented to deserving staff, teachers, and students.
Bishop Dr. Dartey expressed gratitude to teachers, staff, parents, and the Robertson family for their support, saying, “We couldn’t have achieved this without your dedication and commitment.” The school’s success is a testament to Madam Robertson’s vision and legacy, which continues to inspire generations.
