In terms of the economy and what NDC is doing now, what will NPP’s Bawumia add again? – Hon. Vincent Asare Bediako
Hon. Vincent Asare Bediako, former NDC parliamentary candidate for Offinso South, has questioned the economic credentials of the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in light of the current economic direction under the NDC.
Speaking on Kessben FM during a discussion, he asked pointedly what additional value Dr. Bawumia could bring to the economy beyond what the NDC is already doing.
According to Hon. Asare Bediako, Dr. Bawumia has been a central figure in Ghana’s economic management in recent years, and therefore cannot distance himself from the challenges the country has faced.
He argued that the NDC’s current policies and economic approach are better suited to stabilizing the economy and improving living conditions for ordinary Ghanaians.
He further stated that Ghanaians should critically assess promises being made ahead of the elections and focus on track records rather than rhetoric.
