They say we NPP don’t develop Asanteman, Now NDC has been in power for over a year, how far with development? – Sam Pyne, Former Kumasi Mayor

Samuel Pyne, former mayor of Kumasi and seasoned New Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwart, raised pointed questions about the pace and visibility of development in the Ashanti Region now that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is in power for over one year.

Pyne challenged narratives that the NPP did little for Ashanteman when it held government, noting that critics often said the party “did not develop the Ashanti Region.”

He asked whether the current NDC administration has done significantly better since taking office, urging a sober assessment of development progress.
