Presidential aspirant, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has disclosed that any attempt to diminish the party with threats will not be accepted.
He said this while responding to rumors about delegates threatening to be removed from the delegate system if they voted for him, Kennedy Agyapong.
Speaking in a televised address to delegates about the upcoming election on January 29th, he said, “The delegate album is not a weapon; it is a constitutional record of party service,” which is why it must not be used to intimidate loyal members of the party.
With the party’s presidential primary happening in just two days, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong also assured party members of the necessary security and protection. He stressed that “the NPP was built on courage and eternal democracy” and urged members to stand firm.
Lastly, the former Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency called on all delegates to rally their support behind him and vote massively for him to emerge victorious, stating that the party is not only electing a flagbearer but rather “a winnable candidate for 2028”.
