NPP delegates are not kids to be misled by the schemed propaganda leveled against Bawumia by his opponents in the NPP presidential primaries – Kofi Tonto
Kofi Tonto, an aide to former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has dismissed claims and narratives being circulated against his boss ahead of the New Patriotic Party’s presidential primaries, stating that party delegates cannot be misled by what he described as a schemed agenda.
Speaking on Kessben FM with Wofa Kofi Appiah, Mr. Tonto said the NPP delegates are discerning and well-informed, and will base their decisions on competence, track record, and vision rather than propaganda.
He argued that attempts by some opponents within the party to undermine Dr. Bawumia would not succeed, as delegates understand the Vice President’s contributions to government and his plans for the future.
He expressed confidence that the delegates will make a fair and independent choice during the primaries, stressing that Dr. Bawumia’s record and ideas remain his strongest campaign message as the contest approaches.
