Rev. Vincent Kankam speaking on his show on Monday morning, stressed that “Just psych yourself that human beings are the most ungrateful creatures and keep on doing your good in life and expect nothing from the people who don’t remember the good you do for them.
His thought-provoking message speaks directly to the reality of human relationships and the nature of true kindness.
According to Sofo Kankam, many people give their time, resources, and love with the hope of appreciation or loyalty in return. He said However, disappointment often comes when those helped forget the sacrifices made for them.
He noted that rather than allowing ingratitude to discourage us, we are encouraged to detach our good deeds from expectations.
He said when we do good without expecting recognition, we free ourselves from resentment and emotional burden. Our actions then become acts of purpose rather than investments waiting for returns.
