Euphoria FC Crowned Champions at Third Bowmarie Community Football Gala

Euphoria FC emerged victorious at the third edition of the Bowmarie Community Football Gala Competition, claiming the championship title after a tense penalty shootout against Kpandai Bayern Munich on Christmas Day.

The championship match lived up to its billing as both Euphoria FC and Kpandai Bayern Munich produced a tactical masterclass that ended goalless after regulation time.

With neither side able to break the deadlock in a closely contested final, the title was ultimately decided through a penalty shootout, where Euphoria FC held their nerve to claim the top prize.

Euphoria FC’s path to glory was boosted by a commanding 4-0 victory over Baduri FC in the semifinals, demonstrating their attacking prowess and booking their place in the championship decider.

Kpandai Bayern Munich took a different route, battling to a goalless draw with Wounded Lions FC in their semifinal encounter before prevailing in a penalty shootout to secure their spot in the final.
The third-place playoff provided plenty of entertainment as Wounded Lions FC bounced back from their semifinal heartbreak to defeat Baduri FC 4-2, claiming the bronze medal position in the tournament.

The tournament organizers rewarded the top three teams handsomely for their efforts:

Champions, Euphoria FC pocketed GHC 1,500, championship trophy, two Ashlid footballs, and medals for the squad. Runners-up , Kpandai Bayern Munich, received GHC 1,000, two Ashlid footballs, and medals. Third Place , Wounded Lions FC, took home GHC 500, one football, and medals.
