Peugeot Launches Locally Assembled 3008 and Landtrek, Boosting Ghana’s Auto Industry
Silver Star Auto Limited has officially introduced two new Peugeot models, the 3008 SUV and Landtrek pickup, to the Ghanaian market, marking a significant milestone for the country’s automotive sector. The launch event, held in Accra on December 16, 2025, underscores Peugeot’s commitment to innovation, bold design, and comfort tailored for Ghanaian roads and lifestyles.
Speaking at the launch, General Manager of Silver Star Auto Limited, Mr. Asad Nazir, highlighted the vehicles’ strength, dependability, and versatility, suited for city life, farm work, family use, and business ventures. “The Peugeot 3008 and Landtrek are built to handle every road and adventure,” he said.
Sales and Brand Manager, Madam Harriet Asafo-Agyei, emphasized the vehicles’ standout features, noting they are locally assembled in Tema, aligning with government policy. This reduces taxes and eliminates VAT, making them more affordable. “These models offer comfort, durability, and value. Peugeot is the answer for a vehicle that makes a statement and delivers comfort,” she said.
