UCC Holds 58th Congregation Graduation, Urges Support for Infrastructure Growth

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) celebrated its 58th Congregation Graduation last Saturday, showcasing the institution’s commitment to nurturing leaders dedicated to Ghana’s progress. The event was marked by inspiring speeches and a heartfelt plea for support to tackle the university’s infrastructure and housing woes.

Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Denis Worlanyo Aheto, highlighted UCC’s mission to produce impactful graduates but stressed the need for urgent aid. “The school is facing infrastructure and housing challenges. We urge government and private individuals to come to our aid,” he said, emphasizing the need for collaboration to sustain UCC’s excellence.
Dr. Samuel Maneen, a proud graduate and Head of the Sanitation Unit at Korle Klortey Municipal Assembly, shared how UCC’s efforts shaped his success despite challenges. “The school has done its part in equipping me with skills and knowledge. I’m ready and willing to positively impact the country,” he said.
