BAK2NORTH K Street Art Festival To Shake Accra Metropolis

The 4th edition of the BAK2NORTH K Street Art Festival is set to kick off on December 22nd, 2025, and run until December 28th, 2025, in Accra, Ghana. Organized by Rootvent Global, the festival aims to transform the narrative of North Kaneshie, an area previously known for negative activities, into a hub of creativity and investment.

The festival’s theme, “Reclaiming Our Space as Africans (Borderless Africa)”, promises a vibrant celebration of art, culture, trade, and entertainment. The event will feature a trade fair exhibition, live music performances, a cooking competition, fashion show, and cultural displays.
Nii Okunka Bleboja 1, the Nkosuohene of Sarpeiman and founder of BAK2North K Street Art Festival, emphasized that the event is designed to change the narrative of North Kaneshie and attract investors to the area. “For a long time, North Kaneshie has been known for bad behaviour and negative things, but we want to rewrite the story and make it a hub of creativity and investment,” he said.

The festival has already had a positive impact on the community, with previous editions bringing business breakthroughs to the people and neighbouring environs. This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better, with a solid line of activities that will bring enjoyment, togetherness, and merry-making.
Some of the highlights of the festival include the Trade Fair Exhibition, which will feature local and international vendors showcasing their products and services; live music performances by artists such as Enwai of Double Fame, Nii Funny, Episode Kameleon, Yaw Dope, and Di Asa Queens; a cooking competition and eating contest; a fashion show featuring BTNK Models on the Runway; and a Christmas party with music and dancing.

The festival will also feature a special Black Friday dedication to honour fallen heroes, a Di Asa Season 9 Eviction Show, and a Big Durbar with Chiefs. Security will be tight throughout the event, with health experts on hand for first aid.
The festival is open to everyone, including those in the diaspora, and accommodation issues have been solved. With its rich cultural program and entertainment, the BAK2NORTH K Street Art Festival promises to be an unforgettable experience.
