Help people, and God will help you. Don’t think about the ungrateful ones – Rev Vincent Kankam (Sofo Kankam)

According to Rev. Kankam, many people hold back from showing kindness because they fear their efforts will go unappreciated.

He explained that the true value of helping others lies not in receiving praise or gratitude, but in fulfilling a moral and spiritual duty. “Human beings may forget,” he said, “but God never forgets the good you do.”

He encouraged listeners to treat acts of kindness as seeds planted for a divine harvest, rather than investments expecting human returns. Gratitude from others, he noted, is a blessing, but not a requirement for doing what is right.

Rev. Kankam also urged people not to allow disappointment or past betrayals to harden their hearts. Instead, he advised focusing on the joy, peace, and spiritual favor that come from being a blessing to others.
