Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe Appeals to Government for Road Assistance

Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, has appealed to the government to assist in fixing the deplorable roads in her constituency. She presented a list of 33 roads that require urgent attention, highlighting the need for improved infrastructure to boost economic activity and enhance the quality of life for residents.
The roads, which are in various stages of disrepair, include major routes such as the Humgebire-Gate through Ankwaso, Juabo, Wuratrem to Wasa Akropong, and the Wuratrem through Ankasie to Agona Amenfi. Others include the Pensanom through Obeng, Anakum, Amuni Dwirigum to Fuleso, and the Agona Amenfi through Kyenkyen Nkwanta, Agona Camp, Owusu Dapaa to Amonda.
Hon. Cudjoe emphasized that the poor state of the roads has been a major challenge to the people of Amenfi Central, hindering access to markets, schools, and healthcare facilities. She expressed her commitment to working with the government to ensure the roads are fixed, which will, in turn, attract investment and stimulate economic growth in the area.
The MP’s appeal is in line with the government’s efforts to improve the country’s infrastructure, and she is optimistic that her request will be considered.
The people of Amenfi Central are eagerly awaiting the government’s response to Hon. Cudjoe’s appeal, hoping that the roads will be fixed soon.
