Sports pundit Michael Akomeah, popularly known as Sports Messiah, has opened up about the struggles behind his rise in the media space.

In an interview with Mr Bonez on Kessben TV, Michael revealed that despite the fame he now enjoys and the praise he receives from listeners, his journey was filled with hardship, frustration, and moments of silent tears.

According to him, there were times early in his career when he cried alone in the production room, overwhelmed by the pressure, challenges, and lack of support.

He recounted how he worked for months at various radio stations without pay, relying solely on passion and determination to keep going.

Sports Messiah explained that the media industry can be unforgiving, especially for young talents trying to find their footing. Yet, he never gave up, believing that hard work would eventually speak for him.

Today, Michael Akomeah has become one of the respected voices in sports broadcasting, serving as a sports pundit with Wontumi FM/TV.
