Some shows are becoming ‘cocoa season’ for ‘Kwashey boys (thieves), Events organisers should not only care about their money – Fante Quoo

Fante Quoo has expressed strong concern over the rising cases of theft at musical events across the country. Speaking on his Drive Time show on Kessben FM, he reacted to a recent incident in which a young lady’s iPhone 17was stolen during a crowded concert.

According to Quoo, many musical events are gradually turning into “cashout season for thieves,” as criminal activities continue to increase at venues that lack proper security and crowd management. He criticized some event organizers for prioritizing profits over the safety and well-being of the people who attend their shows.

Quoo lamented that most organizers care only about making money, neglecting essential measures that would protect patrons and enhance their experience. He stressed that it is unacceptable for revellers to leave events with their valuables missing or feeling unsafe.

He therefore urged organizers to take security seriously, invest in trained personnel, and create safer environments for all attendees. According to him, showing genuine care for patrons is not only a responsibility but also a key factor in building trust and sustaining the entertainment industry.
