We have not heard any major scandal under the new NDC Mahama Gov’t because they have not done any project – Dr Simon Boateng

Dr. Simon Boateng, lecturer at the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) and the NPP Deputy Secretary for the Atwima Nwabiagya constituency, has suggested that the absence of major scandals under the current NDC Mahama administration is not a sign of exceptional governance, but rather a reflection of limited activity.

Speaking on Kessben FM, Dr. Boateng argued that the government has not yet undertaken substantial projects that could expose it to scrutiny.

We have not heard any major scandal under the new NDC Mahama government because they have not done any project. Time will tell,” he stated.

His comments add to ongoing political debate about the pace and direction of the new administration. While some Ghanaians view the period as one of careful planning, others, like Dr. Boateng, believe it reflects inactivity rather than prudence.

As the government continues to roll out its agenda, public attention remains focused on whether upcoming projects will influence perceptions of transparency, effectiveness, and integrity.
