Dr Simon Boateng, a lecturer at the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), Dr Simon Boateng, has described Dr Bryan Acheampong, “perfect combination” former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Hon. Kennedy Agyapong.
Speaking on Kessben FM, Dr Boateng argued that Dr Acheampong embodies the intelligence, discipline, and economic vision associated with Dr Bawumia, while also reflecting the courage, boldness, and grassroots appeal of Kennedy Agyapong.
“Dr Bryan Acheampong has the strategic thinking and policy competence of Dr Bawumia, and at the same time, he has the bravery and strong connection to the ordinary Ghanaian that Kennedy Agyapong is known for,” Dr Boateng said. “He brings the best of both worlds, and that’s why NPP delegates should rally behind him.”
According to the lecturer, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) needs a unifying figure who can bridge the gap between the party’s technocratic wing and its grassroots activists.
He emphasized that Dr Acheampong’s blend of administrative experience, business acumen, and people-centered leadership makes him the right man to lead the party into the future.
Dr Boateng further noted that Bryan Acheampong’s track record of service and his reputation for discipline and hard work position him as a formidable leader who can energize the party’s base while appealing to floating voters in the 2028 general elections.
