She sparked my interest in politics & led a great legacy & advocated for women’s empowerment in Ghana – Anita De SoSoo reacts to the death of Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings

Former National Vice Chairperson and Women’s Organizer for NDC, Anita De SoSoo has embraced the great legacy of the former First lady of the 4th Republic, the late Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, and her advocacy for women’s empowerment in Ghana.
Anita De SoSoo, speaking on Kessben with Kojo Preko Dankwah, explained that Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings facilitated her interest in politics, which has made her a politician today, revealing through Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, Ghana had women as vice president.
Anita emphasized that Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings attributed to women in politics at parliament through her perseverance.
She also mentioned that through her 31st December Women’s Movement, many women have benefited, and it has been a great call for Ghanaians.
Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings has made a great impact on Ghana and done a lot for women; her legacy still lives on.
Former First Lady and wife of the late Former President Ltd. Jerry John Rawlings passed on in the early hours of Thursday, 23rd October, at Ridge Hospital in Accra.
