166 constituency roads have been discovered to be in a deplorable state, Big Push sets to take care of that – Hon Isaac Adjei Mensah

Chairman for the Roads and Transport Committee, Honorable Isaac Adjei, is delighted with the launch of Big Push by President John Mahama at Afienya.
Speaking with Kojo Preko Dankwah on Kessben TV, he explained the Big Push will facilitate developments on our roads, emphasizing Big Push being one of the major initiatives of the NDC policies.
According to him, 166 constituency roads have been discovered to be in a deplorable state including 4 major express roads and 32 roads left behind by the NPP government.
Isaac Mensah assured that, the big push will bring interconnectivity in the 16 regions and district capitals stressing on the benefits in economic activities and international gains.
He again mentioned that the road maintenance fund has been set up to help maintain our roads. Transparency, predictability are included in Big Push, the minister of roads and highways reassured the completion of our roads within 24 months.
