MP Vows to Resign if Roads Aren’t Improved in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District

The Member of Parliament for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District in the Central Region, Hon. Alhaji Alhassan Kobina Ghanssah, has made a bold promise to his constituents. He has vowed to resign from his position as MP if he fails to improve the district’s roads within his four-year term.
Speaking at the inauguration of newly recruited community police assistants in the district, Ghanssah emphasized that the poor state of the roads is hindering economic activities in the area. He pledged to ensure that both inner roads and highways are properly tiled to facilitate economic growth.
Ghanssah expressed confidence that a National Democratic Congress (NDC) government led by H.E. John Dramani Mahama would prioritize the development of the district. He also highlighted his commitment to fulfilling campaign promises, including the “Operation Own Your Own Car” initiative, which aims to make cars more accessible to residents.
Once these initiatives are implemented, Ghanssah believes that critics who claim he’s not contributing to the district’s development will be silenced. The MP’s determination to improve the district’s infrastructure and economy has been welcomed by his constituents, who are eager to see positive change in their community.
